For many, the first place to spend some time at the Lake Anna waterfront is the Lake Anna State Park. The 3,127 acre park has 10 miles of water frontage and a large public beach for locals and visitors to enjoy.

The largest public beach at Lake Anna is inside the Lake Anna State Park. There is a parking fee to enter the park and a $4 swimming charge for everyone aged 13 and up ($3 for ages 3-12). The campground at Lake Anna State Park offers sites with and without water and electric hookups, centrally located restrooms with hot showers, fire-rings, picnic tables and lantern holders. |
In addition to campsites, the State Park also offers several cabins available for rental. The cabins include a kitchen, rustic furniture, fireplace, living area, bedrooms, and heat pumps. There is also a picnic table and a charcoal pedestal grill in the yard, plus a wrap-around deck, and an open porch with rocking chairs. Docks near the cabin are available for cabin guests only. |

Christopher Run Campground is family owned & operated. Three generations of the Bazzanella family operate the campground day-to-day, so camping here always feels like home. The campground includes 200 campsites, a lakeside group camping area, 9 cabins, 2 full service lodges and 3 rental RVs. Canoes and jon boats are available for rent. There is a playground, a beach area, a game room, a 50 wet slip marina, 6 boat ramps, a laundry room, boathouses and a large air-conditioned pavilion. |

Opened in 1989 and located at the 208 bridge, High Point Marina offers a variety of goods and services to its customers. The store has one of the most complete assortments of fishing tackle, accessories and live bait in the area - specializing in largemouth bass, stripers and crappie. They also offer a wide array of boat supplies, ski gear, clothing and groceries.
Four launching ramps each with its own pier provide for quick access to great fun. The gas dock can accommodate up to four boats, pumping 89 octane, ethanol free, gasoline. Bumpass-Buckner Park
Located at 70 Bumpass-Buckner Park off Bumpass Road, this 18 acre community park includes a picnic shelter and tables, playground equipment, and a walking trail. This park is operated by Louisa County Parks and Recreation. Pavilion reservations are available ($20 for a three hour rental reservation plus $25 security deposit, which is refundable if area is left clean after use).

The Louisa County Bark Park
This facility, located at 1856 New Bridge Road in Mineral, is free to the public to use during daylight hours, when not being used for canine training by the Sheriff's Department or other Parks, Recreation and Tourism-sponsored activities. All users must follow the posted park rules. There is no water at The Bark Park, so you will need to bring water with you for you and your dog. No aggressive dogs and all dogs must be current in their vaccinations.
