Lake Anna State Park
The Lake Anna State Park has a beach on one of Virginia's most popular lakes, a fishing pond accessible to children and the disabled, a bathhouse-concessions complex and a boat launch. Camping, picnicking, six camping cabins and 10 two-bedroom cabins, seven with views of the lake, also are available. With more than 15 miles of trails, the park offers many hiking, biking and horseback riding options. Visitor center exhibits trace the history of the area's gold mining and highlight the park's natural features. Nature and gold panning programs are popular, and the park offers guided tours of the Goodwin Gold Mine.

Lake Anna Winery
Lake Anna Winery’s country setting is surrounded by both natural beauty and historic significance. The lake, with terrific swimming, hiking and boating/fishing, is only three miles away. Spotsylvania County and Fredericksburg, steeped in history dating back to colonial times, also contain major Civil War battlefields all within an hour’s drive from the winery.

There are a plethora of sites and attractions throughout the area to visit and learn more about the history of the region and the important places that appear in the timeline of our nation's past. A great place to get started on your journey is the Louisa Historical Society, the Orange County Historical Society, and the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation.

The Boardwalk at Lake AnnaThe Boardwalk complex is located on Route 522 and is a great location for spending the day at the lake! The two-story building is comprised of Tim's at Lake Anna Seafood Restaurant on the top floor with Lake Anna's Moo Thru Ice Cream Shop, LKA Watersports and Mid-Atlantic Watersports on the lower level. On the knoll you'll find Boardwalk Miniature Golf, an excellent mini-golf course with water and stone features on the waterfront.
